About Me

I’m Joanne Kim, the passionate artist and founder of Bloom Canvas. I’m dedicated to turning ordinary spaces into vibrant studios filled with laughter, color, and unforgettable memories.

Art has always been my muse. I started art lessons at 4-years-old in a garage studio and at 10, I completed my first oil painting. Teaching others to unlock their creative potential has become my mission. With my love for art and a heart brimming with enthusiasm, I founded Bloom Canvas to share the joy of painting and bring the art studio to you.

Though I’m an artist at heart, my work is something completely different! I’m grateful to have an enjoyable career in county government as a certified property tax appraiser and quality assurance manager, overseeing my department’s legal and training needs. I am also a certified yoga instructor, an avid hiker, a wife, sister, friend and a lover of DIY crafts and event planning.

I hope to provide a space for my painters to fearlessly explore their artistic creativity, and do what feels good. So go ahead and color outside the lines! I’m so glad you’re here :)
